The Hotel
A tropical dream conjured into being through architectural collaboration between Alexis Dornier, Studio Jencquel, and hospitality guru’s LINDENBERG HOTELS, this off-grid hideaway is a collective experience connecting people, places, and passions in perfect form. Up in the canopy, wooden walkways weave through the foliage, connecting four elevated towers that house eight carefully crafted rooms. These rooms offer a retreat for those in pursuit of peace, while below, gardens and communal areas beckon for guests to come together.
A counterpoint to the trickle of water from a sacred spring and night-blooming jasmine, contemporary art brings gentle contrast; a neon piece and tactile sculptures animate Studio Jencquel’s interiors and garden designs, which draw inspiration from tropical hardwood and river stones.
Tell surfing tales around the long dining table, stretch out on the sundeck, float free in the natural swimming pool, stretch deep in the yoga pergola or unwind with an Indonesian spa ritual at the Jungle Spa; simple, sensual pleasure is the foundation stone of LOST life.
Rooms Two Ocean Panorama Suites overlook the beach, their views stretching across the transfixing pattern of waves; while six Jungle Panorama Suites catch glimpses of the surf, cocooned by palm leaves. Sustainable decor and details include handmade Balinese ceramics by Gaya ceramics, natural organic sustainable latex and metal-free mattresses by Heveya, flax linen bedding, and vegan, cruelty-free products. Bathrooms feel alfresco, with louvred wooden screens offering natural ventilation but complete privacy.

Quiet Season Pleasures
Bali’s balmy tropical climate is warm and welcoming in every season. November to April brings the rains, but time and tide wait for no man: the surf is rideable 365 days a year.
Engage
Go wild swimming at sunrise, or experience an Indonesian blessing ritual. Borrow an e-bike and explore the real Bali. Ride the waves with a local surf expert: you’ll have the breaks right at your doorstep with the beach to yourself; hire a board made in-house in collaboration with Pyzel Surfboards. LOST can also shuttle you to other surf spots nearby, including Medewi Point’s iconic wave – Bali’s longest – or show you the island aboard its VW bus. Dive the reefs, or roll down the river on a secret tour.
Savour
On the beach, by the pool or with new friends at a sunset bonfire dinner, LOST’s menu’s offer a creative plant-based take on Balinese home cooking. Ingredients are local and organic, and chosen to reflect the season’s best. Breakfast on home-baked banana bread and granola with coconut yoghurt; après-surf snacks might include jackfruit bao buns, hummus wraps, or red-spinach tempura. Regional cuisine shines a spotlight on flavour: try spicy sambals, satays and punchy pepes – fish traditionally steamed in banana leaves.
Go slow
Walk the length of the beach and follow your footprints back. Load your palette with a thousand shades of green to paint the forest garden. Wind down with alfresco yoga. Soothe body and mind with a Balinese spa ritual – try coconut and bamboo scrubs, or massage therapy with thermal healing Bamboo or hot river stones. Count dazzling constellations on clear nights.
