The Hotel
Simplicity and boutique luxury culminate beautifully at Bask and Stow. The entire concept for the suites was created by local architect, Harley Graham and inspired by the breeziness of Palm Springs and the artistic creativity of Bauhaus.
Named after the magical romanticism of Byron Bay: The SAND, The SUN, The SEA and The SALT — this family-owned affair treats their guests to every wonder that comes with living in a coastal location. Decorated with everything from Haiku ceiling fans and a full chef’s kitchen in The House to cane-hanging chairs and monsoon showers in the private suites.
The owners have an amazing collection of mid-century modern furniture and art. The design was shaped to accommodate these. Natural timbers, breezeblock walls, and a layering of tropical and desert plants create a ‘Palm Springs’ vibe. The screen balconies allow guests to be outside yet private, while communal pool and landscaped gardens allow the guests to meet and connect.

Why we love it
«A wonderful spot to stay in Byron Bay. The location is fantastic and just far enough out of the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to walk to town or to the beach. Scandinavian design mixed with a cool retro vibe. The perfect place to relax in Byron Bay.»
