Each of the six stylish and contemporary rooms has its own private terrace where guests can soak up the tranquillity of this natural oasis in peaceful solitude, before enjoying an à la carte dinner and drinks in the hotel’s dedicated restaurant and bar.

The 2 Pool Suites both have their own spacious bathroom and balcony with direct access to the garden and pool-deck. Each suite has its own refrigerator and air condition.

Location Close to the village of Barra Grande, at an intimate beach front, nestled at the entrance of stunning Camamu Bay, Brazil’s third biggest bay.

Building Locally sourced building materials, including concrete. Different local wood were added and complemented by an array of design furniture and home comforts, allowing guests to enjoy large, open, outdoor spaces.

Energy Electricity from the local network. Water gets collected from the local ground, not drinkable.

Digital Detox There is basically NO signal for cell phones in most parts of the peninsula. WiFi available.

Creature comforts Mini Bar in each room, afternoon coffee and cake served in the lounge, pool, garden and beach all accessible from the rooms except top floor.

Barra Grande is off the beaten path, just the way we like it and still relatively undiscovered by the sun-seeking crowds but comes into its own in the sleepy months of April to August. Endless empty beaches, boat trips inside the Camamu Bay (third largest bay in Brazil) to remote islands.

Go Slow

Stand-up paddleboard or kayak in the Camamu Bay, or windsurf, kitesurf or surf along the world-class coast and one of the great natural wonders of Brazil.
Ride placid horses beside the beaches or through the surf with riding guides. Walk along the beach before your evening meal is getting prepared.

Romantic private dinners served at our beach in front of the Hideaway.

Have a picnic basket prepared for you and spend your quiet time on the boat and enjoy a snorkelling excursion to (Taipu de Fora).

Watching or joining Capoiera class at the Aquerê Association at Mangueiras Square in Barra Grande practising Capoeira. It's an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatic, and music.
